Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri was constructed to honor Lewis and Clark’s exploration and westward expansion of America in the early 19th century. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have been able to experience what we have since we last crossed the Mississippi River 7 months ago.
As we walked around the 630-foot arch on an overcast Friday morning, I couldn’t help but be in awe of the experiences we had out west, the size of this impressive structure, and the fact that we’re back in the east. Although we’re back on the right side of the river, we still have lots to see in the next 3 months!
